I too have a happy ending story. I too met my husband online in March of 2000 and we got married in August in that same year. I have never been happier.

We both have had failed marriages and relationships in the past. I was then 53 he 56. I guess since we are both older, we weren't about to play games with each other.We where honest and NOT desperate which is very important of all for anyone. Started out just being email buddies, pals and just getting to know each other as friends.We emailed each other for over a month.We both stayed away from chat rooms. He put his profile as a pic in Excite with what he was looking for, his likes and dislikes.

We met in person 2 months later at a restaurant. It was as if we knew each other from our past, even though we knew we didn't. We where only 70 miles apart at the time. I wish I could have met him decades ago. I met my past relationships the old fashion way and they certainly where a bust and him too. Just before I met him, the last thing I was looking for was another husband. I have truely given up. Sometimes if you just leave it in the hands of God he will come through. I can honestly say, not only is he my one and only true husband (though we both have been married before with grown children) but my soulmate and best friend of all time.
