Long distance relationship stories

Story 4 - Seven Thousand Kilometers Here or There...
Do you think you can fall in love with someone you have never seen?  Gabor claims he is desperately  in love with the Malysian girl with whom he communicates intensively through the net. He does not even know how she looks because the picture the girl sent him was a group photo, and for fun she did not identify herself. Gabor brings up an issue which is often mentioned by those who have experienced cyberlove: appearance is of little importance, in cyber relationships more emphasis is based on communications and inner values.

Story 12 -  I Knew It Would Be Her
When Krisztina and Robert first met both of them were already deeply in love. It is true though, that by that time they had been "virtually living together" for almost a whole year. They were extremely creative expressing their caring for each other, overcoming the barrier of long distance, all the while setting all-time records in tele-communications. I am glad to finally report a story with a happy ending. In real life the couple lives in Toronto. This is a great achievement after the long, and sometimes extremely hard and exhausting tele-relationship.  Read the story and look at the attached photos taken of their happiest days.

Story 21 - El Maestro and Tina
Tina in Australia established an online column similar to this Internet Love Story on her web page.  The inspiration came from her real life.  After her marriage had failed she met her new love in a chat room.  The attached photo shows a handsome man from the USA who ended up moving ‘down under’ to be with her.

Story 42 - In Love With The Enemy
When the YU-NATO war began last year I watched it unfold on my tv and began to realize that this was the first war in the history of the world, where it would be possible to communicate with someone who was actually suffering through a war via the magic of the internet.  I set about trying to find someone in Kosovo who spoke English (via ICQ) but I couldn't find anyone, but this guy named Ratko kept appearing at the top of my list.  I didn't want to talk to a guy from Belgrade  after all, Serbs were the enemy!  But despite the different parameters I put in, he was always at the top of the list. Fine, I said. Fine, I'll try him.

Story 63 - Long Distance Love
I am a young woman 29 years old, single with two children, living in the United States, and I have met a man from Germany online.  We have spent many hours "talking", sharing photos of ourselves, our children, our friends and talked about everything under the sun.  We have become very close, and have let down our respective walls with each other.

Story 73 - Unconditional Love Across Borders
My friend created an account for me in ICQ and I started chatting last December 27, 1998. I used to do random seeking and suddenly a nick "skunk" appeared like magic on the screen, not knowing that this was someone I would love unconditionally one day.

Story 81 - We Married Just One Week After We Met Physically
Our story is the true example of the love that started by the Internet. It has been five years that our history began with our first e-mail. Jérôme lived in Andressy (west suburb of Paris) and I lived in my country Indonesia, Bandung.
